About The Position

Chapel-Romanoff Technologies, LLC (CRT), an EMCOR Company, is hiring an experienced Voice/Data/Video Technician for the Findlay, Ohio area. This is a full-time, onsite position at an industrial facility and is not an IT position. The position reports to the General Foreman. The technician performs the essential functions of the role while meeting applicable safety, communication, collaboration, and customer-service expectations. The employee may also perform related duties as needed to meet the organization’s ongoing requirements.

Requirements

Experienced technician with verifiable experience; no specific number of years is stated.
BICSI certification.
Knowledge of OSHA safety standards.
Valid driver’s license, or commercial driver’s license where applicable.
Analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong customer-service skills.
Organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to communicate in English and cooperate and collaborate with multiple levels of customers and other stakeholders.
Ability to climb vertical ladders, work at heights, and use common hand and power tools.
Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Ability to navigate around job sites.
Ability to meet the described physical demands and work-environment requirements, with reasonable accommodations where applicable.

Responsibilities

Perform the essential duties of a Voice/Data/Video Technician satisfactorily.
Communicate and collaborate effectively in English with customers, employees, unions, government agencies, vendors, suppliers, and other contractor organizations.
Travel to field locations and job sites and navigate around them.
Perform related duties as needed to meet the organization’s ongoing needs.
