About The Position

The Visual Merchandising Partner supports Frontgate Retail stores by developing and communicating visual direction that aligns with key Brand initiatives and enhances the customer experience. This role translates the vision of Brand & Customer Experience into actionable visual strategies and tools for store teams to execute consistently and drive sales.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of corporate and retail visual merchandising experience.
  • High level of experience with Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to travel to retail locations for floor sets.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and communicate in-store visual merchandising direction aligned to corporate standards.
  • Create visual tools and resources (e.g., floor maps, planograms, signage direction, collateral) for flawless store execution.
  • Ensure a consistent Brand image in local markets through product storytelling, visual presentation, and marketing collateral to increase Brand recognition and support sales growth.
  • Execute seasonal merchandising plans based on the go-to-market (GTM) strategy and communicate visual direction to store teams.
  • Collaborate with the Merchant Director to set in-store presentation based on category performance.
  • Partner with the merchant team during the Style Out process to create floor vignettes and fixture bays following SOPs.
  • Create detailed floor plans and planograms for each seasonal floor set, including core/seasonal placement, elevated displays, and fixture-bay execution.
  • Prepare visual decks and tools to support floor set execution.
  • Conduct in-store walkthroughs and reviews, providing feedback to ensure execution meets Brand standards.
  • Review post-floor set photos from each store and provide actionable visual feedback.
  • Create and maintain Excel assortments, ensuring accuracy and alignment with merchandising strategy.
  • Analyze business performance and allocation data to inform assortment decisions and improve store productivity.
  • Partner with Retail Planning to support inventory levels (replenishment, out-of-stocks, and late shipments).
  • Maintain SKU-level documentation (e.g., NGF lists, drop lists, and liquidation adjustments) to support accurate store execution.
  • Attend GTM meetings and consolidate seasonal plans for all stores.
  • Partner with Marketing to support Retail events, presentation direction, and collateral needs.
  • Partner with Production and the Design team to develop cohesive, elevated signage aligned to the Brand communications package.
  • Create and maintain signage specifications (including proof reviews for accuracy).
  • Partner with Operations to support pricing strategies and communicate directives to stores.
  • Support signage needs for events and promotions.
