About The Position
The Visual Merch Materials Handler is responsible for assembling and moving merchandise after it is unloaded and staged for the floor. This role involves preparing merchandise for display, ensuring it looks its best, and changing or rotating displays and signage to reflect inventory or promotional changes. The position requires a positive attitude and effective communication with team members and customers.
Requirements
- Ability to repetitively lift heavy merchandise of up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members.
- Positive attitude when working with customers.
- Knowledge of merchandise handling procedures.
- Knowledge of employment and safety procedures.
Responsibilities
- Assemble merchandise after it is unloaded and staged for the floor.
- Move merchandise to the floor using carts.
- Move merchandise from one bay to another as instructed.
- Ensure merchandise that is being displayed looks the best possible way it can.
- Change or rotate displays and signage to reflect changes in inventory or promotion.
- Perform any other duties as requested by management.
