About The Position

This position is responsible for assembling merchandise after it is unloaded and staged for the floor. The role involves moving merchandise to the floor and between bays, ensuring merchandise is displayed in the best possible way, and changing or rotating displays and signage to reflect inventory or promotional changes. The role also includes performing other duties as requested by management. This is a safety-sensitive position.

Requirements

• Ability to repetitively lift heavy merchandise of up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members.
• Positive attitude when working with customers.
• Knowledge of merchandise handling procedures.
• Knowledge of employment and safety procedures.
• Stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, climbing, crawling, walking, pulling, lifting, talking, hearing/listening and repetitive motion.
• Lifting up to 50 lbs frequently, and/or up to 25 lbs constantly to move objects.

Responsibilities

• Assemble merchandise after it is unloaded and staged for the floor.
• Move merchandise to the floor using carts.
• Move merchandise from one bay to another as instructed.
• Ensuring merchandise that is being displayed looks the best possible way it can.
• Change or rotate displays and signage to reflect changes in inventory or promotion.
• Any other duties as requested by management.
