About The Position

This role is responsible for handling materials within the Structures department, ensuring inventory accuracy, and adhering to company and FAA policies. The position requires knowledge of warehouse practices, computer systems, and the operation of various tools and equipment. The Materials Handler will maintain an organized work area and perform other duties as assigned by their supervisor.

Requirements

• Ability to read, write and understand spoken and written English.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to give verbal and written direction to staff and other employees.
• Must be able to wear a respirator: either a half or full face when required.
• Must be a United States Citizen

Nice To Haves

• Some college and/or technical school desirable.

Responsibilities

• Follow all Kalitta Air and FAA policies and procedures.
• Receive items from stockroom and process accordingly.
• Ensure inventory balances remain accurate and accomplish a quarterly inventory of all materials in secured area.
• Knowledge of current computer systems.
• Knowledge of common warehouse practices and tool operations such as forklifts, pallet jacks, metal shear, etc.
• Keep a neat, clean and organized work area at all times.
• Accomplish any other duties or projects as assigned by the Supervisor, or Structures Manager.
