About The Position

This is a full-time, safety-sensitive position responsible for assembling and displaying merchandise. The role involves moving merchandise to the sales floor, organizing displays, and ensuring merchandise is presented in the best possible way. The Visual Merch Material Handler will also change and rotate displays and signage to reflect inventory or promotional changes. This role is performed in an indoor, climate-controlled environment.

Requirements

• Ability to repetitively lift heavy merchandise of up to 50 lbs. repeatedly.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members.
• Positive attitude when working with customers.
• Knowledge of merchandise handling and employment procedures.
• Stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, climbing, crawling, walking, pulling, lifting, talking, typing, hearing/listening and repetitive motion.
• Lifting up to 50 lbs. frequently, and/or up to 25 lbs. constantly to move objects.

Responsibilities

• Assemble merchandise after it is unloaded and staged for the floor.
• Move merchandise to the floor using carts.
• Move merchandise from one bay to another as instructed.
• Ensure merchandise being displayed looks its best.
• Change or rotate displays and signage to reflect changes in inventory or promotion.
• Perform any other duties as requested by management.
