About The Position
This is a full-time, safety-sensitive position responsible for assembling and staging merchandise for the sales floor. The role involves moving merchandise, ensuring displays are visually appealing, and updating displays and signage according to inventory and promotional changes. The position requires a positive attitude, effective communication, and knowledge of merchandise handling procedures.
Requirements
- Ability to repetitively lift heavy merchandise of up to 50 lbs. repeatedly.
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members.
- Positive attitude when working with customers.
- Knowledge of merchandise handling and employment procedures.
Responsibilities
- Assembly merchandise after it is unloaded and staged for the floor.
- Move merchandise to the floor using carts.
- Move merchandise from one bay to another as instructed.
- Ensuring merchandise that is being displayed looks the best possible way it can.
- Change or rotate displays and signage to reflect changes in inventory or promotion.
- Perform any other duties as requested by management.
