About The Position

This is a safety-sensitive position. The FLEX TEAM is responsible for various tasks including pulling orders, stocking merchandise, unloading trucks, scanning inventory, preparing items for restocking, handling returned merchandise, performing furniture repair, processing parts orders, and assisting customers with loading vehicles. The role also involves unboxing items, inspecting furniture for defects, staging items for delivery, processing re-picks, and managing trash removal. Team members are expected to follow daily closing assignments and maintain excellent customer relations.

Requirements

Ability to repetitively lift heavy merchandise of 50 lbs.
Must be able to pass lift truck Licensing test (written and physical)
Must weigh less than 300 lbs. (manufacturer requirement)
Tugger and scissor lift Certification
Ability to communicate effectively with team members
Positive attitude when working with customers
Knowledge of employment, merchandise handling, and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

Pulling orders
Stocking inbound merchandise
Unloading trucks
Scanning merchandise into inventory
Wrapping items for restock
Dispositioning returned merchandise
Performing furniture repair
Entering/processing parts orders
Loading customers vehicles
Unboxing items with proper technique
Inspecting furniture for damage, functionality, defects, imperfections
Staging items for delivery
Removal and proper processing of items from delivery zones using a scan gun
Processing re-picks for delivery loadout
Removing trash from work areas
Removing trash from external property
Receiving/processing transfers
Checking daily closing assignments
Use excellent customer relations when working with internal and external customers
Perform other duties as directed by management.
