About The Position

This is a Safety Sensitive - Driving position. The Visual Merch Tier I role involves changing and rotating displays and signage to reflect inventory or promotion changes. The individual will develop ideas for merchandise displays, arrange properties, furniture, merchandise, backdrops, and other accessories. This role also provides direction to Visual Merch Materials Handlers on product placement and assists with arranging bays to promote products, with a focus on promotional items. Any other duties as directed by management may also be assigned.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age with a valid driver’s license with no more than 2 moving violations and 1 chargeable accident within the last three years.
Ability to communicate effectively with team members.
Positive attitude when working with customers.
Knowledge of employment, safety, and merchandise handling procedures.

Experience and/or education in interior design preferred.

Responsibilities

Change or rotate displays and signage to reflect changes in inventory or promotion as directed by merchandisers, managers, or upper management.
Develop ideas or plans for merchandise displays or window decorations.
Arrange properties, furniture, merchandise, backdrops, and other accessories.
Provide direction to Visual Merch Materials Handlers on which product will go in each specific bay.
Assist with arranging each bay to promote all products in the best way possible, specifically focusing on promotional items.
Perform any other duties as directed by management.
