Visual Arts Exhibit Attendant (16 YRS OR OLDER)
About The Position
Position Purpose: Monitor buildings entrances and exits, safeguard exhibits during operating hours of the OC Fair, and answer questions from the public. This is a seasonal/temporary position not to exceed 122 days. TO APPLY PLEASE VISIT: www.ocfair.com/jobs Essential Functions: Monitors various exits and entrances to the Exhibits buildings. Greets Fair patrons and assists in answering simple questions. Maintains the integrity of the exhibits by cleaning, leveling, etc. Controlling crowds by enforcing rules of the building in a pleasant and respectful manner. Maintains plants and flowers in the Exhibit Buildings. Assists Exhibits demonstrators as needed. Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years old.
- Experience working with the public in a pleasant and respectful manner.
- Possess excellent customer service skills.
- Strong teamwork skills a must with the ability to work well with co-workers of all ages.
- Must be available to work all 23 days of the annual OC Fair.
- Ability to work outside the normal business day/week as required by events and programs, which may include availability pre and post fair.
