About The Position

Primary responsibility is to ensure tables are ready to receive guests of the OC Fair, this includes cleaning dining areas regularly and may assistant in other cleaning duties. This is a seasonal position, not to exceed 122 days that will be scheduled Wednesday through Sunday. Schedule: Swing Shift - 3:30PM - 12:00AM. This schedule is subject to change due to business needs

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Good customer service skills and the ability to work well with others.
• Ability to work outside the normal business day/week as demanded by events and programs.
• Must be available to work 5 days per week (Wednesday through Sunday)
• Must be available to work all 23 days of OC Fair (mid July- mid August) for day or swing shift.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with the layout and facilities of the OC Fair & Event Center helpful.

Responsibilities

• Cleans guest tables and eating areas and removes trash from eating areas.
• Answers questions guests may have, refers the guest to another department as needed using excellent customer service skills.
• Cleans areas throughout the fairgrounds and maintains facilities in a clean and orderly manner.
• Cleans and restocks restrooms with needed supplies
• Will be required to perform other duties as directed, requested or assigned.
