About The Position

The Oklahoma City Museum of Art is accepting applications for a part-time Visitor Services Associate. The role supports the Museum’s mission by creating a welcoming environment and providing efficient service in the galleries and public areas of the facility. Regular onsite attendance is required. The position involves approximately 14 to 28 hours per week, with a flexible schedule that may include days, evenings, weekends, and special events. The associate must commit to working a minimum of two shifts per week.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication skills.
• Excellent listening skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and build strong relationships.
• Ability to solve problems and use good judgment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods as scheduled.
• Strong work ethic and ability to follow directions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Regular onsite attendance.
• Commitment to work a minimum of two shifts per week.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist Museum visitors.
• Answer visitor inquiries courteously or refer questions to appropriate staff.
• Help ensure the safety and security of visitors and exhibitions.
• Know and follow the Museum’s Safety and Security Policies and Procedures and Disaster Preparedness Plan.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
