About The Position

As a full-time Security Guard in Visitor Services in Trenton, New Jersey, you will serve as a welcoming, highly visible presence at a financial institution. You will safeguard employees and visitors by managing access, monitoring entry activity, responding to security-related concerns, and providing exceptional customer service and communication. The role is scheduled Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., at a pay rate of $17.00 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Pass a background investigation, subject to applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a financial institution front desk, following site-specific procedures and access-control protocols.
Welcome and screen visitors, verify identification and appointments, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor records.
Monitor access points, review alarms and surveillance-related information as assigned, and report unusual activity or policy concerns.
Respond professionally to incidents, assistance requests, and critical situations, following emergency response procedures when appropriate.
Maintain a professional front-desk presence, answer incoming calls, provide directions, and support a courteous, organized lobby environment.
