About The Position

As part of the Department of Corporate Services, the City of Humboldt is seeking to fill one (1) full-time seasonal Visitor Information Centre Seasonal Worker. This position will start immediately and is anticipated to last until approximately October 12th, 2026. Under the direction of the Communications Manager, the seasonal employee will be working at the Humboldt Historic Campground and Visitor Information Centre and assisting in operations of the Mini Golf and Campground.

Requirements

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Comfortable with social media
• Team player with excellent communication and customer service skills
• Satisfactory Criminal Record Check

Nice To Haves

• First Aid & CPR is an asset

Responsibilities

• General administrative tasks such as filing
• Taking campground and mini golf bookings and payments
• Maintaining records
• Preparing basic communications
• Assisting with marketing activities such as social media updates or promotional materials
• Light outdoor and facility maintenance, including tidying shared spaces such as the kitchen
• Contributing to overall site cleanliness and upkeep
