Visitor Experience Associate 1
About The Position
The John Michael Kohler Art Center is seeking a passionate, detail-orientated team member to join our Visitor Services Operations, assisting at both the Art Center’s front desk and in the SHOP. The part-time Visitor Service Associate will be responsible for greeting all visitors, directing incoming calls, and ensuring visitors and our members have an exceptional experience. This position is 15-20 hours a week, and hours of work include daytime hours Tuesday through Friday and frequently Thursday evenings and weekends. This will be dependent upon the week, as we rotate weekends.
Requirements
- Demonstrate clear written and oral communication.
- Maintain effective working relationships.
- Proficient with Microsoft Products.
- Proactive self-starter.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Customer service.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Maintain and/or obtain State of Wisconsin Bartending License.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome visitors to the JMKAC Art Center and Art Preserve.
- Answer inquiries via phone and email regarding JMKAC products.
- Sell tickets, camps, classes, memberships, preschool tuition, and shop merchandise utilizing Point of Sale (POS) systems.
- Educate Visitors about services, amenities, public programming, and educational opportunities.
