About The Position
The overall goal of this proposed work is to answer fundamental questions regarding electrochemical carbon dioxide reduction catalysts synthesized by Ian Street at the University of South Carolina using electrochemical and X-ray absorption spectroscopy techniques. If completed, this work would pave the way for more selective and efficient conversion of wasted carbon dioxide into value-added fuels and chemicals.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older at the time the appointment begins.
- Currently enrolled in undergraduate or graduate studies at an accredited institution.
- Graduated from an accredited institution within the past 3 months; or
- Actively enrolled in a graduate program at an accredited institution.
- Knowledge of electrochemical techniques for evaluating catalyst activity and selectivity.
