About The Position

Scripps College, a women’s liberal arts college with a strong interdisciplinary tradition, invites applications for the position of Visiting Lecturer in Psychology to teach in the Fall 2026 semester. This position is for two courses only.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Psychology
• College level teaching experience
• Ability to teach some combination of Health Psychology, Psychological Disorders, and/or Psychological Statistics
• Submit cover letter, curriculum vita, teaching statement, teaching evaluations, sample syllabi, and a list of three references via Interfolio.
• Actively support Scripps College’s Principles of Community and Institutional Values.

Responsibilities

• Teach two courses in Psychology during the Fall 2026 semester.
• Potentially teach Health Psychology, Psychological Disorders, and/or Psychological Statistics.
