About The Position

The School of Sciences at IU Kokomo is seeking a full-time, 10-month Visiting Lecturer in Mathematics for the 2026-2027 academic year. This position involves a teaching load of four courses (twelve credit hours) per semester, which can be delivered in face-to-face or online formats. The courses may include foundational, general education, and gateway mathematics courses, such as college algebra and finite mathematics. Indiana University Kokomo is one of eight campuses of Indiana University, located 50 miles north of Indianapolis. It is a comprehensive non-residential campus serving approximately 3,000 students from north-central Indiana, offering Associate, baccalaureate, and master’s degrees. The campus has around 260 full-time faculty and staff.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Mathematics or a related field.
  • Experience teaching mathematics at the college level.
