About The Position

The Ohio State University at Newark is seeking a 100% FTE, 9/12 lecturer to teach mathematics courses during the 2026-2027 academic year. This role involves facilitating in-class learning activities, assigning and grading assessments (quizzes, exams, homework), holding weekly office hours, submitting grades, and resolving student or course issues. The lecturer may also engage in professional development and contribute to the creation and improvement of course content. The Ohio State University at Newark, established in 1957, provides affordable, open access to Ohio State education. The Newark campus, spanning 188 acres, operates in partnership with Central Ohio Technical College, sharing facilities and approximately 100 staff across various departments. • Teaching experience at the post-secondary level at a regional campus, including university students at a pre-college skill level
