About The Position

This position is for a Visiting Instructor, Capstone Mentor within a Temporary Employee Pool. The role requires a professional license in California (or eligibility within one year) and an OTD degree from an accredited institution. The instructor will be responsible for creating materials for in-person and online learning, utilizing diverse teaching methods to foster student engagement. Experience with online pedagogy, including synchronous and asynchronous delivery, and familiarity with systems like Canvas and Zoom are important. The role also emphasizes social justice, professional work, and working with diverse student populations.

Requirements

  • Must hold a professional license in the state of California or be eligible within one (1) year of appointment.
  • Must hold an OTD degree in discipline from an accredited USDE -recognized regional accrediting body.
  • Ability to communicate effectively through oral and written modalities.
  • Computer and online systems literacy.

Nice To Haves

  • A minimum of one (1) years clinical experience.
  • Knowledge, skills, and experience in working with diverse students.
  • Experience with online pedagogy, including synchronous and asynchronous delivery.
  • Familiarity with Canvas, Zoom and other systems and tools for course management and online learning.

Responsibilities
