About The Position

This position is for a Clinical Instructor within a Temporary Employee Pool. The rank of Instructor is not a tenure-eligible appointment. There are limitations on the duration of full-time continuous appointment for this rank.

Requirements

• A master’s degree or its equivalent in the field of specialization
• Promise of teaching success and of scholarly or artistic achievements
• If no master's degree, equivalent educational or professional experience in the appropriate area of instructional responsibility is required, and the recommendation for appointment must contain a statement of this equivalence.
• Ability to communicate effectively through oral and written modalities.
• Annual HIPAA training.
• Annual sexual harassment prevention training.
• FERPA training.
• Criminal background check.
• Livescan fingerprinting as required.

Nice To Haves

• An earned doctorate or terminal degree in the field of specialization.
• Published research in the field of specialization.
• Experience and sensitivity in working with people of diverse backgrounds and cultures.
• Demonstrated experience in advancing social justice, equity, and inclusion in a university setting.
• Ability to engage and integrate culturally responsive practices and knowledge in their work.
