About The Position

This position is for a Clinical Instructor within a temporary employee pool. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a nursing-related subject, two years of direct care experience, and an active, unencumbered RN License. Content expertise is needed in one or more of the Board of Registered Nursing (BRN) specialty areas, including Population Health/Community Health, Health Assessment, Adult Health/Gero, Critical Care Nursing, Nursing Fundamentals, Pediatrics, Maternal Care (OB, Post-Partum, Neonatal), and Mental Health Nursing.

Requirements

• Bachelors in a subject related to nursing
• Two (2) years of direct care experience
• Active, unencumbered RN License
• Content expertise in one or more of the BRN specialty areas: Population Health/Community Health, Health Assessment, Adult Health/Gero, Critical Care Nursing, Nursing Fundamentals, Pediatrics, Maternal Care, OB, Post-Partum, Neonatal, Mental Health Nursing

Nice To Haves

• BSN
• A master’s degree or its equivalent in the field of specialization and promise of teaching success and of scholarly achievements.
• MSN
• DNP, PhD, Ed.D.
• Experience with Canvas EMS
• One (1) to two (2) years’ experience teaching as a clinical instructor
• Expertise in clinical skills/simulation
• Ability to work as a team with administrators, fellow faculty, staff, and students
• Knowledge, skills, and experience in working with diverse students
• Ability to communicate effectively through oral and written modalities
• Computer literacy
