About The Position

This position is for a Visiting Clinical Professor within a Temporary Employee Pool. The role requires an Au.D. degree in Audiology or an equivalent combination of education (Master's degree) and experience prior to the implementation of the AuD. A current, temporary, or permanent California Audiologist license or a Provisional Audiologist license with full licensure within three months of hire is necessary.

Requirements

• Au.D. degree in Audiology, or an equivalent combination of education (i.e., Master’s degree) and experience prior to implementation of AuD.
• Current, temporary, or permanent California Audiologist license or a Provisional Audiologist license and full licensure within three (3) months of hire.

Nice To Haves

• Clinical service experience with a patient-centered and evidence-based approach.
• Current California Dispensing Audiologist License.
• Experience in a wide range of specialties in the field of audiology (e.g., cochlear implantation, evoked potential, balance function management, tinnitus management, and pediatric audiology).
• Proficiency in hearing aid dispensing, including programmable hearing aids from major manufacturers.
• Previous supervision of audiology students.
• Familiarity with business administration, insurance billing procedures, and patient management system software.
• Experience and sensitivity in working with people of diverse backgrounds and cultures.
• Demonstrated experience in advancing social justice, equity, and inclusion in a university setting.
• Ability to engage and integrate culturally responsive practices and knowledge in their work.
