About The Position

Visiting Assistant Professor/Instructor in criminal justice to teach various undergraduate face-to-face and/or online courses, including surveys of corrections, law and courts and policing. Additional duties include general advising of undergraduates and service to the department. The position will serve the Regional locations (Hamilton, and Middletown). Appointment begins August, 2026.

Requirements

  • Ph.D. or J.D. in criminal justice or a closely related field by date of appointment and evidence of a strong commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching for appointment as Visiting Assistant Professor.
  • Master’s degree in criminal justice or a closely related field by date of appointment and evidence of a strong commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching for appointment as Instructor.
