About The Position
The Visit Facilitator supports patient visits at the M Physicians Orthopedics and Sports Medicine Clinic. The role is responsible for patient registration and monitoring the clinic lobby, preparing exam and procedure areas, and coordinating follow-up needs. The clinic provides care for bone, joint, muscle, and sports-related injuries, with a focus on personalized treatment and rehabilitation.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least 1 year of customer service and/or healthcare experience.
Responsibilities
- Register patients and monitor the clinic lobby.
- Check in patients for clinic services according to scripts and clinic processes.
- Complete registration, print labels, and prepare new patient registration as requested.
- Prepare examination and procedure areas for patient appointments, including setting up rooms.
- Clean each exam or procedure room before and after each patient visit.
- Prepare for procedures by bringing in and setting up equipment or supplies.
- Transport and clean equipment and instruments.
- Complete visit wrap-up by scheduling and coordinating follow-up appointments and other needs, including MyChart sign-up and simple and sophisticated scheduling.
