About The Position

The Clinic RN works in the M Physicians Orthopedics and Sports Medicine Clinic, which provides comprehensive care for bone, joint, muscle, and sports-related injuries. The clinic diagnoses and treats orthopedic conditions, helps patients manage pain and recover from injuries, and supports improved mobility through personalized treatment and rehabilitation. Its care helps patients safely and confidently return to daily activities, work, and sports. The RN establishes patient goals, implements nursing protocols based on treatment plans, educates patients and caregivers, and evaluates patient status and nursing care. The role also supports access to care through nurse visits and management of in-basket tasks, provides telephone triage using approved policies and protocols, and coordinates surgery scheduling. The position is located at 8301 Golden Valley Road #100, Golden Valley, Minnesota, and works Monday through Friday in 8-hour shifts.

Requirements

Current Minnesota RN licensure.
Knowledge of the specialty area.
Associate’s degree in nursing (ADN) or Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN).

Responsibilities

Establish achievable short- and long-term goals for patients.
Implement nursing protocols based on the treatment plan to ensure continuity of care.
Provide education to patients and their caregivers.
Evaluate patient status and the effectiveness of nursing care, modifying the care plan as needed.
Help provide healthcare access through nurse visits and management of in-basket tasks, including phone messages, MyChart communication, refill requests, and results.
Provide safe and timely telephone triage for symptomatic callers using system-approved triage policies and protocols.
Coordinate surgery scheduling processes for patients.
Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
