About The Position

The Visit Facilitator supports patient visits at the M Physicians Orthopedics and Sports Medicine Clinic. The role is responsible for patient registration and monitoring the clinic lobby, preparing examination and procedure areas, and completing visit wrap-up tasks. The clinic provides care for bone, joint, muscle, and sports-related injuries, with a focus on diagnosis, treatment, pain management, recovery, mobility, and rehabilitation.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
At least 1 year of customer service and/or healthcare experience.

Responsibilities

Register patients and monitor the clinic lobby.
Check in patients for clinic services according to scripts and clinic processes.
Complete registration, print labels, and prepare new-patient registration as requested.
Prepare examination and procedure areas for patient appointments.
Set up examination or procedure rooms.
Clean each examination or procedure room before and after each patient visit.
Prepare for procedures by bringing in and setting up equipment or supplies.
Transport and clean equipment and instruments.
Complete visit wrap-up by scheduling and coordinating follow-up appointments and other needs, including MyChart sign-up and simple and sophisticated scheduling.
