Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Seven years of experience in healthcare operations, medical sales support, DME, home care, or a healthcare environment
  • Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience acting as a liaison between sales, clinical, and operational teams to facilitate collaboration and streamline processes
  • Demonstrated history of communicating next steps and procedures effectively to clinical partners
  • Experience managing documentation and ensuring adherence to established process standards
  • Experience managing order and documentation workflows, consistently ensuring efficient processing and maintaining accurate records.
  • A proven track record of verifying insurance coverage and coordinating with payers to facilitate timely approvals and resolve discrepancies.
  • Demonstrated experience applying payer and business rules to support accurate and compliant order processing.
  • Experience communicating directly with clinical and hospital-based customers to address their needs and provide timely updates.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring hospitals and care teams experience smooth, timely order processing when a medical sales territory is temporarily uncovered.
  • Partnering closely with hospital staff, nurses, and internal care teams to ensure orders move forward without unnecessary delays.
  • Serving as a coordination and quality checkpoint to support continuity of care.
  • Reviewing documentation, confirming insurance details, and applying business rules to ensure orders are complete, accurate, and compliant.
  • Resolving gaps, communicating delivery expectations, and maintaining alignment with hospitals, care teams, and nurse partners throughout the process.
  • Supporting seamless transitions and handoffs when medical sales coverage changes, ensuring continuity for healthcare partners.
  • Complying with corporate policies, procedures and security standards while performing assigned duties.
