About The Position

The Virtual Registered Nurse (RN) is a member of the Nursing Care Team who collaborates, communicates, and facilitates optimal care through a computerized and/or digital platform, supporting the daily management of care. The RN assesses, plans, implements, coordinates, monitors, and evaluates the patient's plan of care from admission through discharge. The role applies clinical knowledge, critical thinking, case management principles, and adult education to coordinate, implement, and support the plan of care, ensuring effective transitions across the care continuum. The RN monitors department-specific quality metrics and ensures complete and accurate documentation in the patient record. This is an onsite position at a location within the hospital campus.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited professional school of nursing.
• Valid RN licensure within the State of Michigan.
• At least 10 years of experience in health condition management, including adult condition management.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR).

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing.
• Specialty credentialing and an educational degree aligned with the clinical nursing practice specialty area.
