About The Position

AO is seeking motivated, service-oriented professionals to join our growing virtual team as Virtual Family Benefits Advisors. In this role, you'll meet virtually with individuals and families seeking information about available benefits, help them understand their financial protection options, and provide personalized guidance based on their needs. This opportunity combines customer service, benefits education, relationship management, and consultative insurance sales in a fully remote environment. No previous insurance experience is required. We provide comprehensive training, licensing guidance, mentorship, and ongoing professional development.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Must be physically located within the United States.
Must have access to a reliable computer or laptop with webcam and microphone.
Must maintain reliable high-speed internet.
Must maintain a quiet, professional home workspace.
Must be comfortable communicating with clients through Zoom and phone.
Must be willing to complete required training and professional development.
Must be willing and able to obtain the appropriate state Life & Health Insurance License.

Nice To Haves

Previous insurance experience is not required.
Experience in Customer Service, Healthcare, Education, Hospitality, Retail, Financial Services, Banking, Sales, Client Relations, Administrative Support, Account Management, Call Centers, Recruiting, Military Service, or Leadership may transfer well.
Recent graduates and motivated career changers are also encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

Conduct scheduled Zoom and phone consultations with prospective and existing clients.
Learn about each family's needs and financial protection priorities.
Answer questions regarding available benefits.
Explain life, accident, and supplemental health insurance options.
Review coverage features in clear, easy-to-understand language.
Provide needs-based recommendations.
Help families evaluate available options.
Guide clients through applications and enrollment.
Assist with required documentation.
Maintain accurate digital client records.
Provide continued service by maintaining professional follow-up, answering policy and benefit questions, assisting with applicable policy reviews, helping with beneficiary information updates, and responding to ongoing service needs.
