About The Position

Texas Oncology is seeking a Virtual Care Project Coordinator to join their team. This is a remote position, and candidates must be located within the state of Texas. The typical work hours are Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. Texas Oncology is a leading community oncology provider, dedicated to making high-quality cancer care accessible to all communities. The Virtual Care Project Coordinator will support the Virtual Care Program and work remotely, assisting Executive Directors and Regional Practice Directors with various analytical and administrative duties, including special projects, research, and budget analysis.

Requirements

  • College course work in business administration or relevant equivalent required.
  • Proficiency with computer systems and MicroSoft Office (Outlook, Word, Power Point, and Excel) required.
  • Perform a full range of responsible analytical and administrative duties in support of assigned functions, and region involving the use of independent judgment and personal initiative.
  • Research and analyze problems and prepare recommendations on a variety of issues.
  • Understand the organization and operation of assigned department and outside agencies as necessary to assume assigned responsibilities.
  • Collect, evaluate and interpret complex information and data.
  • Maintain accurate and complete records on programs and operations.
  • Assist with budget preparation and administration.
  • Independently prepare correspondence and memoranda.
  • Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work.

Responsibilities

  • Perform a wide variety of professional level research, administrative, and analytical duties in support of assigned functions for Executive Directors, Regional Practice Directors and region.
  • Perform duties in support of various administrative operations and activities within assigned area of responsibility including special projects, research studies, budget analysis, and other specialized functions for region.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of goals, objectives, and priorities for assigned functions; make recommendations for process improvements.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive technical, administrative, and financial analytical and statistical reports that present and interpret data, identify alternatives, and present and justify conclusions, forecasts, and recommendations based on data summaries and other findings.
  • Assist ED’s and RPD in the budget development and administration for assigned area of responsibility; maintenance of expenditures; prepare reports and analyses related to impact of budgetary decisions; track and monitor budget expenditures.
  • Provide assistance in resolving operational and administration issues; identify issues and conduct analyze to find alternative solutions; make and assist in the implementation of recommendations.
  • Coordinate, implement, and monitor special projects within assigned area of responsibility; perform complex research and analysis of new procedures; prepare and present reports relative to processes.
  • Plan, coordinate, and evaluate activities associated with assigned duties; participate in meetings and evaluation of proposed recommendations; assist in putting measurements in place and monitor compliance.
  • Coordinate, prepare, and conduct marketing and outreach programs; prepare marketing material including brochures, posters, articles, advertisements, flyers, schedules of events, and pamphlets; attend and participate in community groups and meetings; educate the public on assigned programs.
  • Provide staff assistance to higher-level management staff; participate on and provide staff support to a variety of committees; prepare and present staff reports and other correspondence as appropriate and necessary.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with departments, divisions and outside agencies; serve as a liaison to assist region with obtaining information and serves as a resource.
  • Respond to inquiries in a courteous manner; provide information within the area of assignment; resolve complaints in an efficient and timely manner.
