The Virtual Care Nursing Supervisor will work in the Virtual Care Command Center Department. This role is responsible for providing leadership on a particular unit or units and shift, coordinating patient flow, patient care, and assignments. The supervisor will assist the manager/director with human resource management, including evaluations, coaching, mentoring, recruitment, retention, education, and orientation. They will also work with management to control costs, manage the department budget, and productivity. This role emphasizes patient and family-centered care, effective communication using the Quality Caring Model, and teamwork. The supervisor will assimilate leadership responsibilities, promote a positive image of Texas Health Nursing, and commit to continuous improvement of competence, serving as a role model. The Virtual Care Command Center is expanding services across Texas Health, offering a supportive environment, an innovative team, high collaboration with THR entities, and opportunities to participate in new models of care delivery.
