About The Position

Brentwood Behavioral Healthcare is seeking a dynamic and talented full-time RN Night Supervisor. This is a full-time opportunity for week nights. The position requires availability to attend Full Hospital and Departmental orientations: Week 1: MONDAY -FRIDAY (8 AM - 5 PM) & Week 2: MONDAY (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM). Brentwood Behavioral Healthcare is a 120 bed capacity behavioral health facility that provides psychiatric services for adults, children, and adolescents, offering both inpatient and outpatient services. Located in Flowood, MS, the facility aims to help individuals and families achieve optimal mental health, resulting in improved quality of life, by providing individualized treatment in a safe and nurturing environment.

Requirements

Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in Mississippi.
Must demonstrate good mental health.
Must be able to handle multiple pressures.
Must possess critical thinking skills.
Must be able to observe and attend to details.
Must be able to initiate change.

Nice To Haves

A Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
One year of experience in a psychiatric setting.
Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in Mississippi.

Responsibilities

Providing excellent care, comfort, and security to patients and families at their most vulnerable times.
Supervising nursing staff during night shifts.
Responding to patient needs and ensuring a safe and therapeutic environment.
Collaborating with a network of peer co-workers to exchange ideas and review current topics within the industry.
