Virtual Behavioral Health Adult Therapist (LCSW or LPC) - California License Required
About The Position
Iris Telehealth is hiring a full-time therapist to provide virtual behavioral health services to adult patients ages 18 and older in California. The therapist will conduct assessments, use standardized assessment tools, apply diagnostic skills, develop and monitor treatment plans, provide therapy, and connect patients with community resources. The clinic is designed to fill gaps in the outpatient continuum for hospitals and health systems and serve communities with limited access to care. The role is remote and scheduled Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Pacific time, for 40 hours per week. The clinician must hold an active California LCSW or LPC license, have at least two years of therapy and diagnostic experience after receiving an independent license, and reside in the United States or a U.S. territory. Group therapy experience is strongly preferred. Iris provides administrative, licensing, credentialing, onboarding, and IT support so clinicians can focus on patient care. Clinicians can also use AI-supported tools and contribute to quality improvement initiatives. Compensation starts at $100,000, with bonus potential.
Requirements
- Active LCSW or LPC license in California.
- At least two years of therapy and diagnostic experience after receiving an independent LCSW or LPC license.
- Availability to work full time, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday during Pacific time hours.
- Experience and willingness to treat patients ages 18 and older.
- Must reside in the United States or a U.S. territory.
