Virtual Behavioral Health Therapist (LCSW or LPC) - Texas License Required
About The Position
Iris Telehealth is seeking a full-time therapist with an active Texas LCSW or LPC license to provide virtual behavioral health services. The therapist will work in a Virtual Behavioral Health Clinic designed to help fill gaps in the outpatient continuum for hospitals and health systems. The role includes assessing patients, developing and monitoring treatment plans, delivering therapy, and connecting patients ages 12 and older with community resources. Clinicians use standardized assessment tools, apply diagnostic skills, and document services accurately and in real time in electronic health records. This is a remote, 40-hour-per-week position scheduled Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. CST. Iris Telehealth provides administrative, licensing, credentialing, onboarding, and IT support so clinicians can focus on patient care. The position also offers opportunities to participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of behavioral health care. Compensation starts at $75,000, with bonus earning potential.
Requirements
- Active LCSW or LPC license in Texas.
- At least two years of experience as an independently licensed LCSW and/or LPC.
- At least two years of therapy and diagnostic experience following issuance of an independent LCSW or LPC license.
- Availability for full-time work, 40 hours per week, during CST hours.
- Experience and willingness to treat patients ages 12 and older.
- Must reside in the United States or a U.S. territory.
