About The Position
Iris Telehealth is seeking a full-time Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to provide virtual behavioral health services in its Virtual Behavioral Health Clinic. The role involves providing care to patients across a range of ages and acuity levels, with the ability and willingness to treat patients ages 12 and older required. The position is remote and requires availability Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Pacific Time, for 40 hours per week. The clinician conducts psychiatric evaluations, diagnoses mental health conditions, prescribes and manages psychiatric medications, develops treatment plans, and coordinates care with interdisciplinary teams. The role also offers opportunities to contribute to quality improvement initiatives and help advance behavioral health care. Iris provides administrative, licensing, credentialing, onboarding, and IT support, and equips clinicians with advanced tools, including AI-supported systems.
Requirements
- Active PMHNP license in California.
- Minimum of two years of prescribing experience after issuance of a PMHNP-BC license.
- PMHNP ANCC Board Certification.
- Experience and willingness to treat patients across various age groups, with a minimum age of 12.
- Availability for full-time work, 40 hours per week, during Pacific Time hours.
- Comfort working with multiple health systems and varying acuity levels.
- Must reside in the United States or a U.S. territory.
