About The Position

As a Virtual Banking Garage Banker within Consumer Banking, you represent Chase’s brand and culture by combining banking solutions and financial technology with attentive, hospitable service. You engage clients by phone, video meeting, and email, tailoring advice and sharing products and services to meet their financial needs. You participate in test-and-learn initiatives, collaborate with cross-functional partners, and help shape innovation while ensuring clients feel valued and supported.

The role is 100% in office and is listed for Plano, Texas; Columbus, Ohio; or Tempe, Arizona. It is subject to Dodd-Frank/Truth in Lending Act qualification requirements for Loan Originators and requires NMLS registration under the SAFE Act. Continued employment is contingent on compliance with applicable registration, renewal, and update requirements.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of sales experience in retail banking, financial services, or a related industry, with demonstrated success establishing new clients, deepening relationships, and delivering results.
• Highly organized, adaptable, and curious, with a strong desire to learn and improve and the ability to pivot based on testing strategy, outcomes, and feedback.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage clients clearly and courteously by phone, video, and email.
• Ability to learn new products, services, procedures, and digital tools quickly and accurately.
• Ability to collaborate as a team to deliver seamless service with care and sincerity.
• Commitment to operating within risk parameters and compliance obligations and completing required training.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Meet Dodd-Frank/Truth in Lending Act Loan Originator qualification requirements; an employment offer is contingent on review of criminal conviction history, credit report, NMLS information, and other relevant information. A felony conviction within the last seven years disqualifies candidates.
• Register with or update the National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) under the SAFE Act after starting employment, and comply with registration, annual renewal, and update requirements.

Responsibilities

• Participate in test-and-learn initiatives by piloting and executing new solutions, processes, and technologies; help design, launch, measure, and refine pilots; and provide timely feedback and insights to Virtual Bank Leaders and partners.
• Deliver client-first service by creating a welcoming atmosphere and building relationships through active listening, thoughtful questions, and personalized financial solutions.
• Use analytics, digital tools, automation, and multiple applications, CRMs, and tracking systems to inform work, measure impact, and identify improvement opportunities.
• Build partner and client relationships so Garage Tests are executed effectively and aligned with business drivers, while keeping participants informed and supported.
• Guide clients in using self-service technology, including the Chase Mobile App, Chase.com, and ATMs, and educate them about new features and enhancements.
• Refer clients to One Chase Partners, such as Consumer Branch partners, Private Client Advisors, Home Lending Advisors, and Business Relationship Managers, for specialized needs, while owning the client experience end-to-end.
• Work within established risk parameters and compliance obligations and complete required training.
