VIP Host, Zouk Nightclub
About The Position
The VIP Host markets Zouk Nightclub, its restaurant, lounge, and other services while developing a personal clientele list. The role assists guests with special requests, builds and maintains customer relationships, and follows Resorts World Las Vegas service standards, policies, practices, procedures, laws, and regulations. The position promotes the venue and its events, develops business through reservations and casino marketing, and contributes to promotional plans and marketing campaigns. The VIP Host also supports guest experience, safety, security, and property cleanliness as part of the Resorts World Las Vegas team.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least one year of previous experience as a VIP host and/or promoter in a similar or related field.
- At least 21 years of age.
- Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Polished appearance and demeanor.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to obtain and maintain full knowledge and understanding of company and department rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
- Gaming registration.
- Alcohol Awareness License.
- Ability to tolerate varying noise levels, temperatures, illumination, and air quality.
- Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods, bend and reach, and transport, push, pull, lift, or maneuver items weighing up to 10 pounds.
- Eye-hand coordination.
- Ability to comply with policies and procedures, job descriptions, daily memorandums, chemical labels (SDS), and other instructions.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience working in a day club or nightclub.
- Working knowledge of table reservation software.
- Previous experience working in a large, luxury resort setting.
Responsibilities
- Deliver a daily or nightly guest list of preferred clientele on specified days and book weekly industry groups on specified days.
- Follow and execute the weekly host schedule and day/night visitation rosters.
- Interact with, entertain, and provide guests with information professionally and cordially; recognize and cultivate regular guests and respond to inquiries and requests.
- Drive business by booking reservations and focusing on casino marketing departments, including table, slot, and international marketing.
- Execute weekly goals for guest lists, table requirements, and marketing plans.
- Ensure guests are aware of events and support event execution.
- Participate in in-house modeling programs, special casino events, banquet service functions, marketing campaigns, and advertising; perform model or presenter tasks.
- Pose for pictures when requested by management and appear in uniform or designated logo apparel for promotional or charitable activities at or away from the venue.
- Assist in developing promotional plans to increase business levels and sales.
- Maintain social platforms as directed by management, post events and communications, and participate in social media marketing campaigns.
- Use a personal device or cellular phone for job-related operational tasks, duties, and review of company documents.
- Perform other job-related duties as requested.
- Follow safe alcohol service, sanitation, and safety protocols.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures and the team's ambassador, safety, security, environmental services, and guest experience responsibilities.
