About The Position

Music & Arts is seeking an educator and skilled musician to teach violin and viola lessons. The Music Teacher creates an engaging, supportive, and safe learning environment for students of varying ages and skill levels. The role includes building positive relationships with students and parents through communication, goal-setting, and progress updates, partnering with store teams to schedule lessons and encourage student retention, and using musical expertise to inspire students and support their growth. Music & Arts handles administrative work so instructors can focus on teaching.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Music Education, Music Performance, or equivalent experience.
• Two years of music teaching experience, especially on violin and viola.

Nice To Haves

• Further teaching experience with related instruments.
• Advanced degrees (Master’s or Doctoral) in Music.
• Professional teaching memberships or certifications.
• Eight or more years of teaching experience, especially with multiple instruments.

Responsibilities

• Teach music lessons to students of varying ages and skill levels.
