About The Position

Music & Arts is seeking a skilled violin and viola educator who can inspire students and support their musical growth. The teacher creates an engaging, supportive, and safe learning environment and teaches students of varying ages and skill levels. They build positive relationships with students and parents through regular communication, goal-setting, and progress updates, and partner with store teams to schedule lessons and encourage student retention. Music & Arts handles administrative work so teachers can focus on teaching and inspiring learners.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Music Education or Music Performance, or equivalent experience.
• Two years of music teaching experience, especially with violin and viola.

Nice To Haves

• Further teaching experience with related string instruments.
• Advanced degree (Master’s or Doctoral) in Music.
• Professional teaching memberships or certifications.
• Eight or more years of teaching experience, especially with multiple instruments: banjo, baritone, bass clarinet, bass guitar, bassoon, cello, clarinet, flute, French horn, guitar, mandolin, oboe, percussion, piano, piccolo, saxophone, string bass, trombone, trumpet, tuba, ukulele, viola, violin, and voice.
