About The Position

Music & Arts is seeking a music educator to teach saxophone lessons and inspire students. The teacher creates an engaging, supportive, and safe learning environment for students of varying ages and skill levels. They build positive relationships with students and parents through regular communication, goal-setting, and progress updates, and partner with store teams to schedule lessons and encourage student retention. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Music Education, Music Performance, or equivalent experience.
• Two years of music teaching experience, especially with saxophone.

Nice To Haves

• Further teaching experience with related instruments.
• Advanced degree (Master’s or Doctoral) in Music.
• Professional teaching memberships or certifications.
• Eight or more years of teaching experience, especially with multiple instruments, including banjo, baritone, bass clarinet, bass guitar, bassoon, cello, clarinet, flute, French horn, guitar, mandolin, oboe, percussion, piano, piccolo, saxophone, string bass, trombone, trumpet, tuba, ukulele, viola, violin, and voice.
