About The Position

Sphere is a company revolutionizing trade infrastructure with AI-powered compliance solutions. We are backed by prominent investors and experiencing rapid growth. We are a small, global team where individuals own significant domains. This role is based in San Francisco with a requirement to be in the office five days a week. The Videographer and Content Creator will be responsible for Sphere's visual voice, producing polished content for product releases, company updates, and go-to-market campaigns. The content will be distributed on platforms like LinkedIn and the company website. The role emphasizes clean, intentional, proof-of-work storytelling rather than fast-paced social media trends. The position requires shooting, editing, color grading, basic animation, and creating static assets for various platforms. Collaboration with the team on creative direction and direct involvement in the San Francisco office are key aspects of this role. Travel to industry conferences for content capture and market presence is also expected.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in videography, editing, or motion design (agency, in-house brand, or freelance)
  • Mastery of camera fundamentals: aperture, ISO, shutter speed, lenses, lighting, and audio recording
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects) or similar editing suite
  • Experience with color grading and basic motion design/animation
  • Strong portfolio of digital, social, and brand video work
  • Ability to shoot, edit, and deliver polish at startup velocity
  • Comfortable traveling to conferences/events; able to shoot on the fly and capture content in live event environments
  • Own your own camera equipment
  • In San Francisco, available three days per week in office

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in B2B or SaaS content
  • Familiarity with Figma for static work
  • Understanding of platform-specific best practices (LinkedIn, YouTube, website formats)
  • Prior experience covering live events or conferences

Responsibilities

  • Shoot and edit company announcement videos and product demos
  • Create motion graphics and lower thirds for LinkedIn and website content
  • Design static assets for organic social and paid advertising
  • Work with the team on brand continuity across all visual output
  • Own Sphere's video content calendar and creative direction
  • Travel to conferences/events to shoot behind-the-scenes, interviews, and event coverage
  • Build a library of reusable motion templates and design systems
  • Develop efficient workflows that let one person move at startup pace
  • Collaborate with founding team on strategic content around product launches and company milestones
