About The Position

The Video Production Specialist supports the planning, production, and execution of video and audio projects across the Fulfilled by Maersk organization. This role is responsible for managing production logistics, including video, audio, and lighting equipment, as well as executing post-production tasks such as editing, animation, graphics, and final delivery. The specialist collaborates closely with the Creative Director, scriptwriters, subject matter experts, and cross-functional stakeholders to produce high-quality video content that aligns with organizational goals, enhances learning, and drives engagement.

Requirements

  • Five years or more of video editing using Adobe Premiere Pro and proficient in other Creative Cloud products.
  • Understanding of shot composition, framing, and visual storytelling, and the ability to capture unique, eye-catching, cinematic compositions during filming.
  • Proficient in color correction and color grading.
  • Ability to create content with graphic integration, effects, and other elements like music and/or sound bites; not just trimming video clips.
  • Proficient in using mirrorless, DSLR, cinema, or other video cameras, including adjusting settings to get the right exposure, color, and cleanest picture possible based on current conditions.
  • Experience in setting up audio for interviews (e.g., lapel/lavalier mics), including backup audio on camera. This also includes the ability to capture clean dialogue and manage ambient noise.
  • Competence in audio mixing, noise reduction, and balancing dialogue, music, and effects.
  • Experience setting up lighting equipment to get the proper balance of exposure for the style of video (i.e., cinematic, full light, etc.). This would include, but not be limited to, knowledge of three‑point lighting, soft vs. hard light, back lighting, color temperature, and practical lighting setups.
  • Understanding and ability of different file formats, codecs, and export settings for different platforms.
  • Understanding of the pre-planning process, including script writing, storyboarding, and shot list creation.
  • Understanding of digital asset management, including organizing footage, backups, and project files.
  • General knowledge of all video, audio, and lighting equipment.
  • Staying current with trends and new production techniques.

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to travel to sites nationwide to produce video content.
  • Ability to operate gimbals, tripods, sliders, and other stabilization tools is recommended.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in producing elements required for a finished video. This would include, but not be limited to, operating and managing video and audio equipment, travelling with such equipment, ensuring proper lighting, editing footage, managing media files, assisting with the creation of quality compositions, following directions of the Creative Director and their vision of the story, and anything else required to produce a quality video product.
  • Communicate with key stakeholders to identify objectives and goals, and work closely as a team to achieve those objectives and goals.
  • Prepare for video content by planning, meeting, script writing, storyboarding, visualizing, and setting up scenes for filming.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and other subject matter experts to produce video content.
  • Ensure excellent communication, teamwork, and alignment with key stakeholders, developing curriculum, and acting as a trusted partner.
  • Works independently or on small teams, including when working remotely.
