About The Position

Cresset is seeking a creative and motivated Video Production Intern to support multimedia initiatives across our Growth and Brand teams. This role offers hands-on experience contributing to video content that supports firmwide priorities, brand storytelling, and marketing efforts. As an intern, you will be involved throughout the full video production lifecycle from pre-production planning to filming and post-production editing. You’ll work closely with the Director of Brand & Multimedia, Graphic Designers, and the Multimedia Producer, gaining exposure to both strategic creative direction and execution. This is an ideal opportunity for a student passionate about video, storytelling, and digital media to build technical skills and a professional portfolio while working on meaningful, real-world projects.

Requirements

  • Junior or Senior status pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Film, Media Production, Communications, or a related field
  • Portfolio or samples required for consideration
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating creativity, design thinking, and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Premiere Pro and After Effects
  • Basic understanding of video production workflows, including filming, editing, and post-production
  • Experience working on Mac systems
  • Interest in storytelling, digital media, and emerging technologies
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across all levels of the organization
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Resourceful, proactive problem-solver with a strong work ethic
  • Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Familiarity with AI tools for editing or content ideation is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Support the planning, filming, and editing of video content for marketing, brand, and internal initiatives
  • Assist with pre-production tasks such as concept development, shot planning, and organizing production logistics
  • Participate in on-site and in-office video shoots, supporting as a production assistant
  • Edit video content using tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects, incorporating feedback and revisions
  • Help manage and organize video assets, footage, and project files
  • Contribute to both planned campaigns and ad hoc video projects as business needs evolve
  • Ensure high-quality output with strong attention to detail, brand consistency, and storytelling
  • Explore and incorporate new tools and technologies, including AI, into video editing and content ideation
  • Stay up to date on video trends and digital content best practices
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with both creative and non-technical stakeholders
  • Participate in intern programming including lunch & learns and networking opportunities
