About The Position

Wellington Management is seeking a Video Production Manager and filmmaker to own video content from concept through final cut, partnering with marketing, brand, and business stakeholders across the firm. The role is a hands-on self-shooter position: the manager develops concepts and scripts, films and edits their own work, and maintains a high cinematic and editorial standard. The manager translates complex investment subject matter into clear, engaging visual stories and works directly with senior firm leaders and portfolio managers on camera. In partnership with brand and marketing leadership, the Video Production Manager helps set video strategy and the content calendar, manages the video budget and vendor selection, and oversees projects from concept and scripting through filming, editing, and distribution. The role collaborates with marketing, brand, investment teams, Legal, and Compliance to produce work that meets editorial and production standards and supports awareness and engagement for Wellington. It also includes directing senior executives, coordinating approvals and compliance reviews, maintaining video assets and metrics, and managing junior producers, freelancers, and outside agency crews. The position is based at 280 Congress. Wellington employees work from the office four days per week and have flexibility to work remotely one day per week. The role requires travel for on-site shoots and physical production tasks. The base salary range is USD 120,000–225,000, and eligible employees may also receive discretionary corporate bonuses and/or incentives. Wellington offers a comprehensive benefits package.
