About The Position

Pronto Marketing, a WordPress agency based in Bangkok, is seeking a freelance video editor to produce one YouTube video per week. The role involves editing raw footage (talking-head and screen-recording) into 5-13 minute videos, incorporating provided motion graphics, creating original motion graphics when needed, and adhering to a strict brand guide for elements like lower-thirds, animations, and export settings. The editor will also be responsible for blurring client data, delivering drafts within specified timelines (Draft 1 within 2 business days, revisions within 1 business day), and communicating via Asana.

Requirements

• 4+ years editing talking-head or tutorial video.
• Published YouTube work with links.
• Proficiency in Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve.
• Proficiency in After Effects (or Fusion) for motion graphics, with self-designed examples.
• Good instincts for pacing: tight, clear, no fluff.
• Skilled in audio editing and sound enhancement.
• Ability to follow written specs and feedback checklists precisely.
• Reliable turnaround time.
• Clear written English.
• Comfortable working asynchronously.
• Own software and a machine capable of handling 4K source files.
• Able to invoice as a contractor.

Nice To Haves

• Philippines-based candidates preferred.

Responsibilities

• Edit one long-form video per week (typically 5–13 minutes) from raw talking-head and screen-recording footage.
• Follow written briefs and place pre-built motion-graphic B-roll clips as indicated.
• Design original motion graphics when required.
• Adhere to the Editor Brand Bible for lower-thirds, on-screen labels, callouts, subscribe animation, end screen, and export settings.
• Blur client data on the privacy list to ensure it is unreadable.
• Deliver Draft 1 within 2 business days.
• Deliver revisions within 1 business day.
• Communicate through Asana tasks for briefs, feedback, and delivery.
