About The Position
The CBS owned and operated duopoly in West Sacramento has an immediate opening for a news editor to work for CBS 13 and our independent 31. Candidates should have a strong background in putting compelling stories together for our viewers. More than three years television news experience required. Candidates should have a working knowledge of NLE platforms (GRASS VALLEY EDIUS is a plus). We’re looking for storytellers and team players. You must be very creative and have a passion for news.
Requirements
- More than three years television news experience
- Working knowledge of NLE platforms
- Sound journalistic judgment
- An eye for visual storytelling
- Deadline oriented
- Proficient non-linear editor
- Excellent communications skills
