About The Position

This role involves managing and executing trades and positions in Emerging Markets bonds and Derivatives, primarily on behalf of or for the benefit of the Firm's clients. The position requires building relationships with sales, operations, and strats teams to enhance client service. Key responsibilities include monitoring daily trading activities, managing market and operational risk, recommending new strategies, exposures, or investments, and training junior team members on pricing and risk.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Finance, Mathematics, Economics, Actuarial Science, or related quantitative field.
• Five (5) years of experience in the job offered or a related trader role.
• Five (5) years of experience trading and managing a portfolio of fixed income instruments, including Emerging Market Corporate bonds, US Treasury Securities, and Emerging Markets Derivatives.
• Understanding of LATAM Corporate credit and corporate financial statements.
• Understanding of Credit risk metrics when positioning and hedging a portfolio of fixed income assets.
• Experience maintaining strong relationships with the EM Credit client base (Hedge Funds, Real Money, locals, and ETC).
• Experience trafficking in highly illiquid securities that sometimes may not trade for long periods of time.
• Knowledge of how to navigate both positioning as well as hedging these securities.
• Experience maintaining spreadsheets for relative value analysis across corporates and sovereigns.
• Possession of SIE, Series 7, Series 63 licenses.
