About The Position

The Vice President, Programs position at ChemPlan involves assisting in the development, implementation, and monitoring of office strategic initiatives, goals, and objectives. This role requires managing operating division associates, exercising financial and budgetary control, and supporting firm-wide strategic and quality initiatives. The position also involves representing the office at client and carrier visits, industry functions, and meeting or exceeding budgetary production goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education, training or work-related experience
  • Strong management skills
  • Ability to understand client's needs and have knowledge of associated risk profiles
  • Ability to understand and analyze necessary components of insurance policies
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Experience in managing a multi-person team
  • High level of industry technical knowledge/expertise

Responsibilities

  • Manage operating division associates to ensure the goals and success of the division are accomplished
  • Assist in the implementation of strategic goals and objectives
  • Exercise appropriate financial and budgetary control
  • Assist in the development of new operating division initiatives
  • Represent the office as needed at Client and Carrier visits while developing and managing those relationships
  • Represent the office as needed at industry functions
  • Support firm wide strategic and quality initiatives
  • Meet or exceed budgetary production goals
