About The Position

The Vice President, Partnerships & Fundraising is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving revenue growth through sponsorships, cultivating high-value business to business partnerships, and expanding a diverse portfolio of fundraising and experiential initiatives that align with Marriott Vacations Worldwide’s mission and brand. This leader will identify and develop innovative opportunities to deepen partner engagement, enhance Owner experiences, and generate incremental funding through a combination of signature events, experiential platforms, and emerging programs.

Requirements

  • Four-year college degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in partnerships, sponsorship sales, fundraising, business development, or related fields.
  • Proven track record of generating and growing multimillion-dollar revenue streams.
  • Strong leadership presence with experience engaging senior leaders, corporate partners, and high-value client segments.
  • Experience leading large-scale events, programs, or experiential initiatives.
  • Strategic thinker with strong negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive and scale multimillion-dollar revenue streams through sponsorships, partnerships, and new business models.
  • Proven success building and maintaining high-impact relationships with business partners, corporate sponsors, and high-value clients.
  • Expertise in creating innovative, integrated partnership agreements that deliver mutual value and maximize revenue.
  • Strong understanding of premium customer experiences and how to translate them into engagement, loyalty, and monetization opportunities.
  • Ability to identify, build, and scale new programs and platforms that blend fundraising, experiences, and business to business engagement.
  • Experience overseeing a diverse set of initiatives (events, programs, partnerships) and optimizing performance across a portfolio.
  • Skilled at driving alignment and execution across matrixed teams including marketing, sales, and operations.
  • Strong focus on outcomes, with the ability to translate strategy into measurable results and deliver against revenue and engagement targets.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sponsorship strategy to cultivate and grow annual sponsorship revenue.
  • Identify, negotiate, and secure new corporate sponsorships aligned with MVW brand values and initiatives.
  • Create scalable and flexible sponsorship packages that leverage events, experiences, and emerging platforms to deliver measurable value and drive revenue growth.
  • Build, maintain, and deepen strategic business relationships across current and prospective partners.
  • Serve as an executive relationship owner for top-tier partners, ensuring high engagement, retention, and long-term growth.
  • Identify cross-functional opportunities to integrate partners into MVW initiatives, including Owner experiences, events, and broader business strategies.
  • Provide leadership oversight and strategic direction for key fundraising initiatives, including flagship programs such as: Caring Classic Clays for Kids.
  • Drive innovation and growth across these and other programs to increase participation, revenue, and brand visibility.
  • Continuously evaluate and expand the broader portfolio of fundraising and experiential offerings to diversify revenue streams.
  • Continuously evaluate market trends, competitive offerings, and partnership opportunities to develop new revenue-generating platforms.
  • Build and scale new initiatives that blend owner engagement and corporate partnership value.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align initiatives with broader company strategies and maximize impact.
